چکیده
The objective is to solve the college physics problem of a block sliding down movable smooth wedge without friction anywhere using spatial-numeric perspective. drawing method used sum normal force and weight find acceleration. results are equivalent algebra within accuracy. result geometric construction with regular uncertainly was shown for case any horizontal applied force. For given force, an additional numeric graphing uncertainty in result. resuted solving via scaling concept modified gravity experienced by on wedge’s slant edge, assuming pre-requisite knowledge trigonometry. presented spatial imply Physics First pedagogy abilities, inclusion pre-projectile problem, pre-traffic-light post-collision one-semester syllabus.

In this research, a numerical algorithm is employed to investigate the classical Blasius equation which is the governing equation of boundary layer problem. The base of this algorithm is on the development of RCW (Rahmanzadeh-Cai-White) method. In fact, in the current work, an attempt is made to solve the Blasius equation by using the sum of Taylor and Fourier series. While, in the most common ...

متن کاملQualitative Spatial Reasoning about Objects in Motion: Application to Physics Problem Solving
This paper describes an ongoing project to develop a theory of qualitative spatial reasoning which merges a simple, intuitive description of the spatial extent, relative position, and orientation of objects with existing methods for qualitative reasoning about dynamically changing worlds. We are applying our theories within a system for problem solving about the magnetic elds domain. We describ...
متن کاملSpatial Visualization in Physics Problem Solving
Three studies were conducted to examine the relation of spatial visualization to solving kinematics problems that involved either predicting the two-dimensional motion of an object, translating from one frame of reference to another, or interpreting kinematics graphs. In Study 1, 60 physics-naíve students were administered kinematics problems and spatial visualization ability tests. In Study 2,...
